A guided trip through history
The Francigena is an historical route, all along which you can admire many historical buildings from small chapels to imposing monasteries, from castles to hospitals. Along the way you will have the chance to discover Roman remains and Etruscan tombs.
Our guides have a deep knowledge of history and art and will gladly share this knowledge with you and make the experience more interesting.

An experience in sharing
Hiking is a soul searching activity and a pilgrimage has a spiritual dimension that adds to the intensity of self discovery. But a pilgrimage is also an experience in sharing. Meeting route companions that share the same aim, but have different backgrounds, different motivations and different ways of life is an experience in itself and increases the pleasure of the trip
Our guides are fluent in Italian, French and English so the group may include people from many different countries

A trip to test your own limits
Some people are able to hike 30 km per day carrying a 15 kilos backpack; however for most people, walking steadily 20 to 25 km per day, every day for a number of days, rain or high heat is no easy task !!! It is a major effort and a great accomplishment.
Regardless of your fitness you will be testing your own capabilities to sustain a long-lasting effort.
Our guides will make it possible for you to walk this route by being there for you, helping you to solve the practicalities of the route.
