La Via Francigena: from Aulla to San Miniato
Departure dates: 2/05 - 13/06 - 5/09

You will meet your guide in Aulla which you can reach in 30 minutes by train from La Spezia or 1h30 from Milano. You will also be told where to go to receive a benediction should you desire one before you start on your way. Feel free to ask all the questions you may want to feel comfortable and to make sure your pilgrim route will be as safe and as pleasant as possible. The week will unfold first in the incredibly beautiful scenary of the Appennino just below the Cisa Pass only to come in view of the Mediterranean. To avoid heavy traffic we will follow the coast line from a distance, overlooking it from the soft hills above Carrara and Massa. Lucca is certainly the pearl of this week, with its perfectly oval walls and precious churches. We will then continue to Altopascio, one of the major stops on the Francigena to end our trip in the lovely town of San Miniato.
Here we give you a few facts and a photografic view of the area. Ask for detailed itinerary.
