Via Francigena: from
Bourg St Pierre to Pont St Martin

You will meet your guide in Martigny and, togather you will catch the bus to Bourg St Pierre, the last village before the Pass. The week will unfold among a grand mountains scenary, on trails or on small alleys winding among vineyards. We will descend the Valle d'Aosta retracing the steps of Hannibal army, the first to cross the Alps, or of Napoleon army that, centuries later followed the same perillous route, stopping in small villages with stone roofed houses, visiting imposing castles that stand guard at the entrance of side valleys, tasting the light white local wines and the delicious local cheeses.
