Piedmont bike & wines
Piedmont
is a turistically virgin land. Only the 2006 Olympic games have made
it a better known destination. Our
tour takes you to the south eastern part of the region, which has a
strategic location, within slightly over one hour reach of the highest
mountains of Europe, of lake Maggiore and of sea resorts such as Portofino
or Cinqueterre.
Piedmont has the best
Italian wines; long before Brunello and Chianti became fashionable
wines, Barolo had the quality of the best French wines. Now,besides
Barolo the choice is endless: Barbaresco, Dolcetto, Barbera, Moscato
or Nebbiolo.
