To the most famous Piazza

Day 3 - Siena is our next stop. Savour a delicious icecream sitting at a Cafe on the hedge of the Piazza del Campo where the famous Palio is run twice in a year. Stroll the small "vicoli" and cobbled streets, admire the purity of the Duomo architecture and taste some of the best italian wines at the Enoteca nazionale.

The most beautiful abbeys

Day 4 & 5 - We spend 2 days in Brunello land. Almost unknown until 20 years ago, Brunello is now, one of the most famous Italian wines. Tasting it should not prevent us from appreciating the beautiful town of Montalcino and the 2 superb abbeys: the imposing Monte Oliveto Maggiore and the peaceful St Antimo

..and "Le Crete"
moonlike landscape

Day 6 & 7 - The Crete landscape is no doubt one of the most famous in the world: rolling hills in all the shades of brown or green; sturdy brick farmhouses or imposing mansions crowning the hilltops and cypress lined alleys design a perfect scenary that inspired painters since the Middleages. We visit Pienza and Montepulciano.
