Paestum
Day 1 - Arrival in Paestum which you can reach by train from
Rome with a
Change in Salerno.
Transfer to the hotel and visit the temples.
For once do not skip the museum
which features 2000 years old frescoes. Supper and night

Santa Maria di Castellabbate
Day 2- After a visit to a Mozzarella cheese factory you will be transfered to Agropoli. Walk up to the castle for the view, then walk across the harbour and on to St Maria di Castell'abbate. along the way stop at a winery with an outstanding view of the bay and stop for a wine tasting light lunch. Same hotel

Amalfi and Ravello
Day 3 - Private transfer to Amalfi.
Never in your life you have climbed so many stairs!
The road to reach Ravello from Amalfi is a long, never ending staircase with
in between
small, lovely hamlets. The route offers breathtaking views of the gulf . Ravello is called with reason the balcony of the Costiera. It is a rather sleepy village with a beautiful villa to visit.

Positano
Day 4 - The "Trail of the Gods" is the name given to the path that from Agerola (a village above Amalfi that can be reached with 20 minutes bus ride) leads to Positano. It is a fairly long walk and it leaves you just enough time in Positano to spend some money in the fashionable boutiques of this fancy town and enjoy an ice cream before catching a boat back to Amalfi.

Capri
Day 5 - Capri is one of the most famous places in the world. and it is magic. Catch a boat to the island and spend 2 days there. A Funicular will take you to the upper town. After check in, visit the archeological part of the island, walking to The Tiberio Roman Villa along narrow alleys bordered by luscious gardens. Comming back stop for a gelato on the piazzetta. It may be expensive, but you will see the jet set walk by!

Anacapri
Day 6 - Catch the bus to Anacapri and then the chair-lift to Montesolare. The hike along the ridge is breathtaking! A sheer 300metres drop straight into the bluest sea on one side, soft meadows covered with wild flowers on the other. The trail will lead you back to Anacapri in time for a late lunch, or bring a pic-nic.

Pompei
Day 7 - Catch a boat to Naples. There are shuttles both to the airport or the railway. If you take the slow train to Rome you can stop in Pompei. There is a luggage deposit at the entrance of the ruins. Possible extra night in Rome.
